Chris Pak

Technology has been at the heart of my hobbies, academics, and extracurriculars. From previously building and managing websites and consistently being up to date on the latest consumer & industry technologies, as well as being an early adopter of tech, I know first hand how technology can enable and enrich people’s lives. As VP IT, I want to bring that same energy and innovation to the Aesculapian Society, making our digital spaces better designed, more intuitive, and more student-driven than ever.

I will work closely with Medtech, faculty, and the student body during user acceptance testing to ensure that new systems and updates actually make sense from a student perspective, and I’ll continue expanding IT support for portfolios, interest groups, and committees so that everyone can focus on initiatives and goals without technology being a roadblock.

Ultimately, my vision is to make technology usage at ASCO a seamless and empowering part of our student experience, where it is easy to find resources and communication between individuals/groups become seamless. As someone who genuinely loves tinkering with tech, exploring new platforms, and learning what’s next, I see this role as an excellent opportunity to use my passion to give back to the med community.
