Hi everyone! My name is Yasmine Hall, and I’m part of the MD2028 class. I’m beyond excited to be running for Junior VP Finance and would love the opportunity to represent you on ASoc! Although I love a good “girl math” meme, what you should know about me is that I have a genuine love for budgeting!! I love making it fun and organized with my bestie, Excel! I want to bring that to ASoc; in order to provide financial organization and make our student funds work smarter for everyone. As Junior VP Finance, my goal is to ensure that every dollar in our budget benefits our student body in the best way possible. I want to work closely with Danielle (Senior VP Finance) and Will (current Junior VP Finance) to maintain transparency, keep our finances running smoothly, and support the incredible initiatives and activities that make med school such a memorable experience. But beyond just managing our finances, I believe this role is about listening to you as well. I want to make sure your ideas and feedback shape how our finances are used, ensuring that student events, wellness initiatives, and academic resources are not only accessible but also financially sustainable. Whether it’s budgeting for unforgettable social events, ensuring club funding is distributed fairly, or finding ways to make resources more affordable, I’m committed to making our finances efficient, transparent, and student-centered.
